The pandemic-era Animal Crossing: New Horizons, at 48 million units, outsold the next title, Hogwarts Legacy, by more than 40%. The rest of the leaderboard is a mix of established franchises (Call of Duty, Pokémon, Zelda) and breakout newcomers such as Black Myth: Wukong, Phasmophobia and Palworld. Hits remain the industry's economics: the top ten account for two-thirds of top-20 volume.
